Our aim is to offer high-quality, cost effective cleaning solutions for your building. We are able to achieve this by carefully managing your cleaning contract. Our cleaning team are trained professionals supported by the latest cleaning methods and equipment.
Combining core cleaning services such as office cleaning, window cleaning, or pressure washing can allow for more cost effective benefits not already realised when engaging with contractors separately. And so we seek to identify where consolidation of service could help your site.
High Shine Ltd believes in high standards of cleaning that are consistent, which is why we are a proud corporate member of BICs, and have a full rigorous on going training scheme with our staff.
We carry out regular quality audits with an app based QA system and we collect this data to feed back to our operatives and clients.

Professional and transparent service
You've already heard about our quality control and DBS checking of all cleaning staff. However, how do you know you're being charged correctly? We’ve thought of that too. All cleaners clock in and out through facial and GPS tracking. This allows for a seamless overview in real time of all the High Shine workforce with systems in place to support lone working.
Once High Shine is awarded a cleaning contract a site pack will accompany all the cleaning equipment and materials delivered on the first day of cleaning. This will include the RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements) as well as the full cleaning schedule showing daily and periodic cleaning tasks.
A small cupboard or space will be required for High Shine cleaning equipment and supplies. Staff will be trained in the use of the chemicals and equipment.
For ‘out of hours’ cleaning we usually require two sets of access keys or fobs allowing our management to visit our cleaners on site unannounced as part of our quality control program. This also has a safety aspect in allowing emergency entry by our management team.
As part of our site visits our quality control system will check the PAT testing of all electrical equipment owned by High Shine.
Cleaning supplies will be kept well stocked, and cleaning will be left neat and tidy.
About the founder
The company founder Lee Burbidge began High Shine as a window cleaning business in 1999.
During these early years on the back of hard work and awesome customer service the business expanded not just in the number of customers but in the services offered too. High Shine quickly expanded into office cleaning during the early noughties employing 60 office cleaners. Since then the business continues to grow.
With clients and employees that have been with High Shine since the early days, we have the experience needed that is clearly enjoyed by all of our customers.
In 2012, Lee Burbidge began a digital magazine called Window Cleaning Magazine and an accidental media world opened up leading to an appearance in a reality show for ITV in Italy, as well as Have I Got News For You and The One Show (BBC).
